Covid 19 update

Re-Opening our building.
The Elders, after a great deal of prayer, thought and discussion, have decided that we will aim to re-open the church building for face to face worship to celebrate Pentecost, on Sunday 23rd May 2021 at 10.30am.

This date depends entirely on the progress of the Government’s stated Four-Step plan.  It may well be that we will have to revise our plans in the event that the vaccine roll out is delayed significantly or the infection rates for Covid-19 begin to rise again. We will keep you advised both here and on Facebook

At present our plans for re-opening will still be governed by Covid-19 security measures.  This means that numbers attending will be limited and you will need to book a place, there will be no singing and people will have to wear facemasks while in the building.

Preparing the building.

We will need to clean, prepare and re-set the building for worship and to allow other rooms to be cleaned and prepared for when we can begin letting spaces for those who want to use our building.

Cleaning & Preparation Days.

We propose 2 deep cleaning dates:

Saturday 1st May for vacuuming and cleaning the Welcome area, Meeting Place and Vestry and moving furniture to those areas

and

Saturday 8th May for the worship area including vacuuming, furniture replacing and deep cleaning.

We would be very grateful if you could volunteer some of your time and energy to help us, in any way, on both or either of those dates.

If you can assist, please let Pam Skeet know as soon as possible.
